This PID kit turns the Gaggia Classic Pro into an entirely new machine and gives it the capability of a $2000+ machine at a fraction of the cost. Installation is straight forward and simple for anyone, and customer service has been extremely helpful with any issues! Highly recommend!

This add-on completely changes the capabilities of the Gaggia Classic. The installation is straightforward if you are comfortable with basic screwdriver/wrench skills. I have mine programmed to do a 5 second preinfusion at 25% pump power followed by a 4 second pause and then 100% pump power for the remainder of the shot. With this kit and a nice bottomless portafilter I have been pulling some really great shots. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I currently have the new Gaggia e24. Bought in February 2025, I am a barista at Dark Moon Coffee roasters in Las Vegas. Temp surfing on a stock machine is good to an extent, but once you want to play with more variables and want to be more consistent. Getting this PID will help achieve just that! I’m not an expert on wiring or tools at all, probably basic knowledge of general tools. I had to start with knowing that I have a day off the next day. I began on a Friday around 3PM, finished maybe around 7-8PM. It took me a while only because I didn’t have all the right tools at first, also didn’t want to mess anything up. The instructions that came with it works but with the E24 and the manual that comes with the PID, pictures will be different. The hardest part for me was the black mono block and removing the wires. Just buy it!!!

Left more details when reviewing the PID but just gotta say the PID and screen holder are worth the effort and cost in my novice opinion. Getting much more consistency with each shot, helping me sort out my own puck prep and grind selection with much more ease. Steaming without the mod was much more challenging.
