Dang. I didn’t expect this to massively improve my ‘spro game but it did! It came a day early and after about 3-3.5 hours of relatively straightforward but time-consuming installation, I was immediately pulling better shots. I was already dialed in prior but the ability to control temperature and profile an infusion improved the brightness and sweetness of the extraction while toning down acidity. I love that I don’t have to waste water temperature surfing and everything simply worked. I could also tell steam temps rose a lot faster and sustained longer without tweaking much. This mod was definitely worth it and it opens up a ton of options for experimenting or just enjoying a good brew consistently.

Great PID! I took my time with the install so it took a few hours but it was very straightforward and not too hard to do. Everything is well made and the PID display looks great. After install, I was surprised by how much better my espresso was. It didn’t think I would see such a big difference right from the start using the default profile. I can’t wait to mess more with profiles. The only issue I had was my LED light did not work. I contacted Barista Gadgets about this and they immediately shipped out a new light for me. Great customer service and will also answer any questions you have before purchase! I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend it highly to anyone who is tired of temp surfing.
